This year I’ve been invited to speak at the Real Man Conference in Aachen, Germany on April 10 and 11.

I spoke at the first of these events in 2008 (read my review here) and absolutely loved it. It was a fantastic chance to get close and personal with some of the dating communities superstars. I made some great friends, learned a ton about myself, improved my game and generally had a blast!

There are some fantastic speakers this year, including Orlando Owen, Paul Janka, Asian Playboy and Badboy. To get a sense of the scale of the event, check out this video from the last conference (extra points if you can spot me!):

This really is the best dating and seduction conference in Europe that I’ve ever attended – if you can get there, I strong recommend it!

A team from Channel 5 News spent some time with us at our recent London Bootcamp to film a Valentine’s Day Special. They attended the seminar and shadowed five students and me as we hit the town. On January 31st in New York City, my good friend Big Business is launching a seminar entitled Humour & Attraction!

A Word on Seminars
I’m often invited as a guest attendee to expensive dating seminars and I’ve noticed something. A lot of people running these things have a very surface level understanding of their topic, gleaned either from book-learning or a small amount of practical experience.

You know that feeling when you just learn something new and you just want to tell everyone about it? Naturally, you enthuse over this new topic to your friends but, if you’re sensible, you don’t mistake this enthusiasm for actual expertise. You certainly wouldn’t decide to teach a seminar based on such shallow understanding!

Well, some people don’t seem to have this common sense and write entire seminars teaching skills that they themselves are barely familiar with. I frequently get the sense that, with a day of light research and preparation, most reasonably oratorial people could out-perform these speakers. It’s sad that people pay money for such sub-par events.

I’m pleased to say that Big Business bucks this trend. Yes, Big Business has great game but, just as importantly, he’s actually funny – he has an extensive background teaching and performing comedy.

Would you want some pick-up artist with a couple of jokes in his repertoire to teach you about humour?

No.

Would you want some comedian with no game teaching you how to meet women with humour?

No.

If I’m going to pay money for a seminar on how to use humour in my interactions with women, I want my teacher to be someone with professionally excellent game and someone with professionally excellent comedy skills.

Big Business’ Credentials
First of all, Big Business is actually funny. That’s no small thing. Very few ‘pick-up artists’ are funny enough to survive on the New York stand-up circuit but BB regularly performs as a stand-up comic throughout the city. Big Business is not only funny, he also has a background teaching improv-humour workshops in New York.

Secondly, BB has excellent game. For a start, this guy is Future’s main wing (regular readers of my blog will know how much I respect Future’s game) and you’d better believe Future has his choice of the best wings in NYC. I’ve been out with BB several times and I can also attest that the man has skills.

And don’t get the idea that BB is some loud mouth frat boy with Abercrombie-model good looks. This guy is shorter than Mr.M, scrawnier than me and has – to be polite – a face for radio. This guy still gets laid waaaay more than most guys I know. That’s stellar game right there!

In summary, BB is undeniably qualified to teach this seminar. In fact, I think it’s long overdue that he’s been given the green light to do so. I recommend both him and his seminar without reservation.

Today, Thundercat posted his famous Top Ten List of Pick-Up Artists of 2009 and…I’m on there!!! That’s right, my intern called me this morning to inform me that I’ve been ranked #8 in the world!!!

I’m really excited! To be on the same list as so many of my heroes is an honour. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support and encouragement of my colleagues, clients and teachers. Thank you.

The folks from Las Vegas Weekly came down to report on the Love Systems Superconference 2009. Savoy sent them into my break-out room seminar on Kino Escalation…somewhat of a speciality of mine and certainly something I don’t pull any punches when teaching!

Big congratulations to the overall winner: Future. This guy has sick game, is a fantastic teacher and cares deeply about his students. Plus he used to be in the Marines…so if you like your seminar loud, he’s your man! I count him as a great friend and mentor. His blog is hilarious: check it out here.

In other news…I’m absolutely destroyed. Having just touched down in London after a week of luxury limo rides, strip clubs, beautiful women and bottle service in the world’s most debauched nightclubs…I think I can safely say we ‘did’ Vegas to the maximum!

I’ve been travelling a lot over the last twelve months and meeting lots of you at bootcamps and my own one-night-only seminar events. From Australia to Norway, from Munich to Dublin, it’s been quite a ride. But of all those destinations, Vegas wins hands down at debauchery, insanity and general great times!

Meeting and partying with our clients is always a lot of fun. The kinds of men who are attracted to our programmes are, for the most part, interesting and successful people with much to talk about. I enjoy equipping men like these with the skills and mindsets to make them a huge success with women.

I led an in-field group to Tryst on the Friday and Saturday nights with Tenmagnet, Hi-Roller and Calabrese to assist – what a great team! We had a 1-1 instructor-student ratio and we took advantage of it, really pushing each student to new levels. Special mention to Elate, our Australian approach coach who joined us on the second night.

We forswore sleep in favour of clubbing at XS until 6am, braving the atrocious service at McLucky’s 24/7 Diner and then heading back out to charm the ladies of Spearmint Rhino Gentleman’s Club until the afternoon sun was well overhead.

Myself, 5.0 and TheDon played a mini-blues gig for Dane Cook at the Hard Rock Hotel!

I met and experienced the force of nature who is FADER. The man never sleeps, the man never stops, the man is amazing and brilliant! This is the kind of guy who spends a straight 22 hours gaming strippers…fucks one in the club and then has french toast from the strip club kitchen…and that’s after a full day’s seminar and in-field tuition?! That’s almost two days without any kind of sleep! How does he do it?!

Speaking of forces of nature, spending so much time with the Love Systems instructor team was enormously inspiring for me. Literally every one is a lesson in stellar game. We worked together in the breakout rooms, shared insights from the mainstage, descended on cafe’s for noisy dinners and then rolled out in limousines to tear up the Vegas strip.

Enough of this gush-fest. I’m currently sitting in Dubai airport, en route to Australia for our Melbourne Bootcamp. Excited about this one, I have a feeling it’s going to be epppiiiccc…still have about 3 seats left I think. Still time to book a place – ACT FAST THOUGH – I hate getting emails from students who left it too late to book their seat and had the programme sell out on them. Don’t let this be you!
